Why aren’t you open source?

Exactly, Overtracking is not open source. There are a few reasons for this:

  • Security: We believe that open source software is more vulnerable to security risks. We have a strong commitment to security, and we believe that keeping our code closed source is the best way to protect our users’ data.
  • Intellectual property: We have invested a lot of time and resources into developing Overtracking. We believe that keeping our code closed source is the best way to protect our intellectual property.
  • Business model: Our business model depends on charging users for our services. We believe that open sourcing our code would make it more difficult for us to compete with other data analytics companies.

We understand that some people may prefer to use open source software. However, we believe that the benefits of keeping Overtracking closed source outweigh the risks.
